JDRF
A few months ago me and my mom went on a walk with Curves that was for muscular dystrophy and we had a blast and thought it was great and ever since then, we've been wanting to do more of the walks, but we've had a hard time finding out about them. So last week on the radio we heard an ad for a walk that was coming up for Juvenile Diabetes and decided that we were going to do it. It was amazing to see those brave little kids up there talking about their disease. One little girl was so cute and said "I'm going to do a dance for you all so that you can see that we can do all of the same things that you can." All of it was very touching and neat and got me to thinking about how lucky I am to have my health. It was a neat day and a fun walk and I hope that we keep getting more involved in these fund raisers because not only are they fun but they're always for a good cause too. It amazes me how much goes into putting these together and that everyone who is involved is donating their time.
