Four months!

My baby is four months old! I just wanted to post some of my favorite pictures from this month and maybe make some notes so that in the future I can look back and remember where we were at.

Anders eats, eats, eats his hands. He's even getting to the point now where he'll spit out his binky just so that he can stick his whole fist into his mouth! Grrrr! This better not be the beginnings of thumb sucking, I would much rather him have a binky.
He drools..... A LOT! Hence, the bib that is now a part of his daily attire.
Anders loves to be surprised. That's what makes him laugh the most. If you can catch him off guard and make him jump, he thinks it's the funniest thing in the world!
His aunt Chelsy is trying to stick him with a nickname: Anderoni. I think it's cute, Cam doesn't!
His cousin Kenley calls him Aunt Brandy's Anders'. It comes out sounding like Aunt Bwanny's Annhers.

Grandma Darley watches Anders a lot of days now. I go to pick him up and first off say hello and Anders has a big smile waiting for me! Then I get the run down on how the day went. You know, eat, sleep and poo information. Then I get to hear about the fun things he did for the day. Like "oh we went to see the goats today", or "we bounced on the trampoline today". We are SOOO lucky to have her in our lives. He loves his grandma Darley and now Cam and I can sit down and have dinner together every night. She has been such a huge help to us and there's no way we can ever repay her for what she adds to all of our lives!
Anders started rolling over at a month old and did it quite frequently. Then he stopped for about a month and a half. But the last week or so he has started doing it again and just yesterday he rolled for the first time from his back to his belly.
Sounds like fun huh? But trying to deal with that while he's getting a bath...not so fun! We're gonna have to switch our bathing styles up a bit. Kitchen sink here we come! Or can I put a bumbo in water?!

Anders can't quite sit up by himself yet but he is slowly getting there. If we lay him down on his back he now either arches his back to try and roll over or pushes up on his elbows like he's trying to sit up.
He has what we call a "freak hair" on the left side of his head. There is one hair that's about two inches longer than any other hair on his head. Cam keeps telling me that I have to get rid of it, but I refuse!
He hates the car seat when I put him in it. He cries and arches his back when I'm putting him in almost every time! Yet when dad does it he sits there like a perfect angel and smiles at him. He LOVES his daddy!

He is one happy, smily, laughing little boy. Never a day goes by now that I can't get him into laughing fits atleast a couple of times. He's also a little flirt. Cam has pointed out to me, and I have since seen it on many occasions, he doesn't pay much attention to guys but if there's a lady in the room that's where he's looking.
Anders sleeps with his arms above his head (like his mom) and plays with his ear (like his daddy). Are these inherited traits or just a coincidence?

He loves the dogs and pays lots of attention to them already. And I love that! Especially when he pulls Onyx's hair and she just sits there and lets him do it!
We still have him in a bassinet next to our bed but in the next week or so he will be sleeping in his crib in his own room. I have a feeling that Onyx will probably move into his room with him. No matter where Anders is, Onyx is right next to him. That dog sure loves him! They are going to be best friends!

Anders has to hang on when you're holding him on your hip. So if you don't have dangily earings on (I no longer wear earings!) it's the hair, or in dads case, if you don't have hair, it's the ear. It's super cute! But I have to check his hands regularly for clumps of hair! Going bald here!
Speaking of hair! He's finally getting some that you can really see. If I spike it a little bit it looks super cute! Can't wait until it gets a little longer!
His laugh is infectious. But what babies laugh isn't, right? To me there is nothing better in the world then his chuckling little laugh!
Next Wednesday he gets his second round of shots. NOT looking forward to it. Atleast my mom works in the office across the hall from my pediatrician so we can go get some support there. Last time we took him over there after his shots, he was crying, I was crying and grandma was crying and there was a whole waiting room full of people to watch!
*And one little post about me. I found my first gray hair this month!

I feel that we are missing out on so much, but thanks to you Brandy and the blog of Anders we don't feel so far away. I love all the little things he is learning and that is becoming a trait. I sure do love that little guy. By the way the pictures that Chelsea took are adorable of Anders and your neices.
