In case you're interested in my opinion...

I'm a loser and did not vote today. It's not that I didn't want to but I've recently become quite the space cadet and totally forgot to go register. (Just an example of the space cadet I've become, I was roasting pumpkins seeds the other day, reached in to grab the pan, picked it up and realized at that time that I was using my bare hands to do so. Ouch! I sat and shook my head for a good ten minutes after that because I couldn't believe that I did it!)
I am very disappointed that I didn't get to vote. After work I stopped at a few places on my way home and was amazed at the talk that I was hearing. One kid answered his cell phone and said "Hi mom" pause, "No I didn't get to vote today and I'm so mad about it. At the last minute they switched where the polls were. I was told that they were polling at the University but when I got up there they said that they switched it and they didn't have information on where I needed to go. It just makes me mad because they know that at the university we would not be voting McCain and it's kind of funny that all of a sudden we can't vote there and they don't know where we need to go." It just made me sick. I really wanted to turn around and say something but I didn't.
Honestly I can't say exactly who I would have voted for because this year I've tried not to pay a lot of attention. I remember getting so worked up about the last election and didn't want to be that way this year. One thing I know is that I wouldn't have voted for Obama and the main reason for that would be his stance on gun control. I know that you're supposed to look at all of the issues, but that issue alone is one that is very important to me. I believe that we should have a right to protect ourselves and that right should be a guarantee for us. I am not a huge fan of guns and don't much like even being around them but sadly I know that it is almost a necessity in this day and age. So just a little blurb on how I feel about the election. I'm nervous to know what the results will be and I'm dying to find out. Hope you all had a great election day! Kudos to you that voted, no matter what your stance!

I'm with you about the gun control issue. I did vote, here in Wy you can register the day of. Pregnancy does make you spacey (well, not only you, I think all of us lose a few brain cells every time we are pregnant).

I think it's so funny that you picked up the pan without mits. I put a plastic container in the oven... yeah, it melted everywhere! I just wanted to say thanks for all your support yesterday over IM. I was going to loose control, thank you for giving me some emotional support, and understanding (when not so many people can empathise with such an issue) Thanks!
