After that I made Cam go out shopping with me. We bought a couple of jackets for the baby at Old Navy and then met up with my mom in town and she bought me some super cute clothes. And I bought some new shoes :). After that we went over to Crystal Hot Springs and spent a couple of hours in the pool. If I thought the haircut was relaxing, I had another thing coming. It was so nice to just relax in the pool for a while and it was super warm over there too. They had no snow which just amazed me since we're still covered over here. I know now that I'm going to want to go over there almost every weekend until I have the baby!
The most amazing thing to me was getting out of the water and for the first time ever, feeling the effects of having a big belly. It's been so gradual of course that I hadn't noticed what a toll it takes. Until after lounging in the pool for an hour, I stood up to get out. I almost thought that I would fall forward because of all of the weight in front of me. It was crazy! The drive home was nice and quiet and we both thought that we would fall asleep.
We got home and I decided to run to Sarah's to show her my new cute clothes. Went and hung out with her and Trish for a little bit and then I got a call from my sister saying that my grandma was at their house with a gift for me. I headed over there and had a nice time talking with my grandma. I sure found out some interesting things. As I said in my last post, I'm obviously a lot more like her in the pregnancy department then I am my mom and for the first time I got to ask her some questions. My grandma's babies were 9lbs 7oz and 8lbs 9oz. VERY large babies. Which prompted me to look up exactly what size 85% was for a newborn baby. Turns out that the 85th percentile means a 9 lb baby! Then she told me that her mother had an 11 lb baby and her grandmother had a 13 lb baby. My grandma always went over her due date with her babies and was in labor for 27+ hours. Woohoo! So I guess we'll have to see how things go. Of course there's no way to know and that's the hardest part for now!
All in all it was an awesome birthday! Thank you for all of the gifts and well wishes! Now I just can't wait until Anders birthday!

Happy Birthday Brandy! It looks like you had a fabulous day. After the crazy week at work we had you needed an extra special day. I can't wait to see your cute haircut :)
Sounds like you had a great birthday! I had forgot about Crystal Springs being there, I wasn't sure it was even still there. I hope that they did some remodeling because when we use to go there they were gross. But the was twenty to twenty-five years ago. Does Camron remember going over there? We use to go over there quite often during both summer and winter. It was always fun going in the winter running from one pool to the next with steam coming off your body sometimes you couldn't even tell who was running to the next pool. It sounds like a good way to take the pressures of a hard work week away. Hopefully your great weekend will follow into the new week. We love you and hope to see you and Cam soon. Send us a picture of the new haircut and the belly. Take care. Love Kathy
