It is called the honest scrap award and these are the rules...A) First list 10 honest things about yourself--and make it interesting even if you have to dig deep.B) Pass the award on to 7 bloggers that you feel embody the spirit of Honest Scrap...
1.If I could do anything... I would be an author. I love to read and I LOVE to write. It's been quite a few years since I've even tried to do anything but my dream is to write a book one day. I would love to write childrens books and/or novels. And I am planning on one day writing a book for our kids. Too bad I'm not any good at it though!
2. If I had my way I would live in a commune. Cam makes fun of me because I tell him this all of the time. Unfortunately I'm too much of a realist and I know that chances are that it would never work out. I would love to live on the land alone and have such a community that everyone did their part. If only it were a perfect world. Even knowing that I will never do that, I would love to have a cow and chickens and make all of my own milk, cheese, have eggs and all of that. I would have a whole farm if I could. I love gardens. Since we bought our house I've only planted a garden once, but I wish I were better about it and felt more capable and had more time to spend growing my own food. Let's just say that I would love to be that self reliant.
3. I love shoes! If you couldn't tell from my other post. I couldn't even count how many I have and I have a really hard time getting rid of any. I have three large boxes downstairs and a closet and a half full of shoes. I am not a pack rat at all. In fact, if anything, I throw things away too easily but when it comes to shoes, I just can't.
4.Unfortunately I'm sure that most of you know this one... I'm a worrier. Obsessively! And it's not a good thing. It's something I have been and will continue to work on for a long time. I have improved though! I worry about big things, little things, morning, noon and night. So if I tend to not talk a lot, it's usually because I have something on my mind that I'm running back and forth to try and come up with a better conclusion.
5. If I had my choice, my children would be homeschooled. I know, I know what about social skills, etc? I have looked into it quite a bit and there are so many great resources out there and groups to meet with that that is not a worry in my mind. I grew up next door to a family with 13 kids and they were homeschooled and believe me, they had great social skills. Our neighborhood was a blast! I have some pretty strong feelings about public school that I won't go into here. Let's just say that I think ideally homeschooling would be the best but that doesn't mean that public school is all that bad either.
6.This is the one that I am the most embarrassed of, so I'm really going with the whole "Honest Scrap" thing here. At the beginning of my sophomore year of high school I dropped out of school. I went back a month before my class graduated and received my GED. I somehow got in the top 5% in the nation on my test scores.
7. I am a fidgety person. I can't sit still. In fact when it comes to vehicles I refuse to drive anything that is automatic because what on earth would I do with my hands otherwise?
8.Because I am a fidgety person, I have mastered a skill. And that skill is driving with my knees. I'm good at it too. I could probably drive Nascar with my knees. That's another requirement for my vehicles is that the steering wheel is close enough that I can drive with my knees.
9. I have never been a fan of sweets, at all... until I got pregnant. I didn't like chocolate, cake, ice cream none of that! My cravings were always for salty things. I could sit down and eat a bag of chips easy! Now I can eat a bag of cookies, a cake, a pie, a candy bar AND a gallon of ice cream in one sitting (not really but I feel like I could)! I really hope that this goes away after I have the baby!
10. I've never wanted to be rich and/or famous. Although I know that being rich may make life a little easier, I find peace in being an "average" person. Don't get me wrong, more money would be great, but I would never wish to have a fortune.
I tag: Chris, Erin, Trish, Brooke, Sierra, Kathy and Candace.

Sometimes it makes you stop and think when you have to lay it on the line. It was fun reading your "Honest Scrap"
That is so funny. Way to be honest. You are super cute. And although you're not rich and famous, you're not an ordinary person either!
